Easy At Home Beer Brats

Fall is the perfect time to make Beer Brats at home and such an easy meal that only takes about 20 - 30 minutes to make.


Step 1: Buy your brats + beer… don’t forget onions!! You can make this recipe with any type of brat or sausage you prefer. I typically like chicken brats or spicy italian! For beer, this is again very up to taste, I always suggest just a light beer, or you can do something with a little more flavor. You can also add onion and some veggies to the mix too.

Step 2: Add Onions to a pan and cook until onions begin to brown. Then, add beer and brats (only enough beer to cover brats). Bring to boil, once at boil, simmer for about 20 min.

Step 3: Remove lid, remove brats and place on grill to get charred, and let beer evaporate from pot. Remove onions after most of the beer is gone.

Step 4: Grill some buns or enjoy on top of veggies!

Step 5: Plate, and enjoy!
